Project Morry is a year-round youth development organization that provides each child a multi-year commitment anchored by a superb residential summer camp called, ‘Morry’s Camp’. Morry Stein was an inspiration to thousands of individuals in his life. His dream was to bring the summer camp experience to all children. Morry’s life was taken on his return flight home from an important American Camp Association meeting on October 31, 1994, before he could fulfill his dream, and the dream of so many youngsters. Inspired by that dream, and to ensure that his vision of summer camp for all children becomes a reality, Morry’s friends, colleagues, and family created Morry’s Camp (which has now grown to become Project Morry).
Each summer our Gate Hill campers can choose to participate in our annual Project Morry Swim-a-thon. Gate Hill Day Camp will match each swimmer’s donation. If you choose to participate, please ask your camper the number of laps he/she has swam and return the tear off with a check payable to PROJECT MORRY. All donations are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. For more information about Project Morry please visit their website.
